Where are you Fox 10?  I get you on my analog TV with the converter but on my DTV I can't get you.  I get many beautiful stations that are so colorful and no static,  Just breath thaking.  But my number one station and news chanal is Fox 10 and I am very upset that I can't get you!!!!  Now everyone will have to pile in my bedroom to watch Fox 10 I am not happy about this.  What is the problem?  Is anyone else having this problem?

How is the News media not tearing into this one. Our president has paid a failing company 100 billion dollars? The Union is the owner of this company, the bond holders who have supported this company for years will not recieve a dime from it. How can this be seen as anything but a payoff to the Union for votes.  Even if its not it is the worst idea imaginable, they are now asking for 100 billion more tax dollars to bail them out.   

Simple math  devide 200billion dollars by the amount of people in this country who pay taxes and see how big your check was?      Why is the news media, our trusted information outlets not covering or asking these Questions???

why is it that my kid who has done so well at hillsdale is being bused down the hill and not father out west mobile were the acadimic scores are higher?i am very upset to see theese kids that have been passing with a's and b's being sent to a school where the scores are so low

i am having a hard time understanding closing some schools down but keeping the old school board building up and running an air conditioner in an empty building what is the school board thinking closeing the schools and bus children 30 minutes to an hour to and from schools that is rediculous and they force children in school in uniforms why not sell the old buildings stop the uniforms and stop forcing children in school that is why so many children drop out at 16 yrs old

I cannot believe what I just saw on the news tonight; the story about the middle school boys molesting or simulating sexual acts on another student!!  His father thinks "they're just babies", is he just ignorant or oblivious to his own son?  And the shirt that boy was wearing was mocking of the whole scenario, "I'm the child your parents warned you about"?  Students of this age are far from "babies" and the actions they take SHOULD HAVE CONSEQUENCES! That is the reason some of them end up in jail later, no accountability at an earlier age. I have taught this age group,and I am appalled.  These boys need to be made an example of, and I applaud the juvenile system for doing it. I hope they get the toughest judge in the county!  "Didn't know what they were doing" indeed, that father should be ashamed of himself and his son.  Wonder where he learned all that from...

I had a three year affair with Jay Ison w/Thames Batre, Mattei Beville & Ison.  His wife was Jamie Ison, Alabama House of Representative.  The affair ended 2/07 when I went to work for his competitor.  He had my Dept Supervisor stalk and follow me to ensure that I was flirting with any co-workers.  I then told Jamie details  of our affair. 

For a year and a half, he is totally obsessed with me.  He is having people follow and stalk me EVERYWHERE  I go and EVERYDAY.  There is a tracking device on my vehicle and my home and vehicle are bugged.  He will not talk to me.

If any of you know Jay Ison, please help him move on with his life and get help for his mental issues.

I think the “How much is it worth” event is the most unethical thing I have ever seen in the antique business here in Mobile. As a dealer in this business for many years, what qualifications and knowledge do these appraisers/dealers have to truthfully give accurate appraisals? I know for a fact that some of your so called appraisers do not have the knowledge needed to appraise the vast variety of items being presented. I have more experience than some of these people and I’m not qualified. I see this as an opportunity for these dealers to lowball people on their items and profit by reselling them at a higher price in there own shops and businesses. Its like casting sheep to the wolves. We dealers are predatory, and to keep some form of ethics in this business, most professional appraisers belong to appraisers guilds. These appraisers take an oath to never buy what they apprise. This keeps this business honest and prevents what I suspect is going on with your “How much is it worth” event. I have made more money off of two of your dealers (two of your so called appraisers) because they under price many items in thier own business. If they knew the real value of their stuff, it would not be so easy for me to glean them and profit from their lack of knowledge. Some stuff they price way to high, some way to low. If they cant appraise their own stuff accurately, how can they appraise other peoples stuff? I saw one of the appraisers on your news report say that the value of an item was based on a opinion of what it is worth. I almost laughed out of my chair. Its not based on opinion, it is based on fact. A lot of appraisals take research. Digging in books or online to find true value. Unless an appraiser knows the actual value of an item due to first hand knowledge, they should eather research it, or not appraise it at all. Even the guys on the real Road Show have to resort to research. And a final fact that I am sure some these dealers have not considered, is the legal liability they carry on their shoulders if they under appraise an item worth much more than the appraisal. Most real appraisers carry liability insurance to cover themselves in the event of being sued for a bad appraisal. If you appraise a painting for $200 and it ended up being worth $10,000, they are liable for that bad call especially if the person is paying for a professional appraisal. I was quoted a price of $500 to have one document professionally appraised from a (real) local appraiser. Why so high? Liability. Whether it be $2, $5, these people are paying for what they think is a professional appraisal. I fear your event falls a little short of that.
